Today, I went to a car show in New Territory out in Sugar Land. Upon arrival, it was raining buckets and I thought for sure that the car show was hosed, but once the rain gave up, we were rewarded with a very nice Texas Sauna. It was great fun walking around and talking to the owners of these fabulous machines.
There were Hotrods, Muscle Cars, a Motorcycle, Classic Cars, Modern Cars and even some Trucks. Of course, my two favorites were the Chevy Bel Air and the Honda Motorcycle. The paint on that bike was absolutely amazing, it had a skeleton that looked like it was in flames and flying down the road – much like a screaming demon moving down the highway. The tank had some flaming skulls and there had to be at least 13 coats of clear coat on that paint job, it was beautiful.
I spoke to the owner about the paint on his bike and he said that it was done by Dark Timber Art in Ector, Texas. If you have a bike, car or truck that you want a truly awesome paintjob, then I suggest that you give them a call. I honestly wish that I could have another opportunity to shoot this bike and some of the cars that were there today.
My other favorite of the show was the Chevy Bel Air that earned the featured picture for this post. This car was just immaculate. I couldn’t help but feel like a carhop at a drive in with the burger and fries hanging on the window.
Check out my other pictures in my portfolio. Remember that I not only offer photography prints on Canvas, Paper, Metal and Acrylic; but I also have Greeting Cards and iPhone cases.
